Hi Moms, I can see from OKW videos that some bathrooms can be accessed through laundry room. Is there a specific name for these so I can request one when booking? We are 4 adults so don’t really want to walk through Master bedroom to use toilet at night.

    Hi Lorna!

Thanks for coming back to visit us with your question! Disney’s Old Key West Resort is one of my favorites. There is just something about the laid back atmosphere, spacious rooms, and amazing Cast Members that make this resort a hidden gem. And don't forget you're a short and lovely boat ride away from Disney Springs! When we visited this past spring, we enjoyed several evenings in Disney Springs grabbing a bite to eat and enjoying the live music.

If you’ll be booking a 1 or 2 Bedroom Villa, and would like a room that offers a second entrance to the master bathroom, you would need to request to be in buildings numbered 30 or higher. To my knowledge, there is not a specific name for this type of room layout. These are the newer buildings, and are along Old Turtle Pond Road and South Point Road. You can request a higher building number when you make your reservation, and during online check-in you can request either the Old Turtle Pond area or the South Point Road area. Always keep in mind that requests cannot be guaranteed. That said, it’s always worth asking!

We’re so glad you’ll be coming back to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, and I hope you’ll continue to send us your questions as you plan!
