    Is it okay to bring small children to some of the signautre resturants at disney? My children are 6,4,2 and I really want to eat at California Grill and Narcoose's, but I am worried that this might be a faux pas on my part.

    Hi Amanda,

    I want you to remember one thing-Walt Disney created this place for families to spend time together!

    I have taken my princesses to California Grill when they were three and five, and there were other families doing the same. We ate in Narcoose's when they were older but there were children about your children's age in there dining as well.

    When I go to these restaurants with my daughters, I always make sure we are showered and dressed a little nicer than shorts-a simple sundress will do. I think it teaches them that vacation is not always about getting what they want and how to appreciate nice things. If I do not teach them to behave properly in a restaurant, who will?

    I can remember one time only, when my littlest had had enough, that we needed to remove her from the restaurant and her and her dad when back to the room to sleep! No one stared or said anything because as soon as she stopped acting like a lady she left.

    Remember to stick to your chilcren's normal meal time and both restaurant's do have child friendly items.
