Hello Keosha!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are thrilled you stopped by to ask a question about your upcoming Walt Disney World adventure.
In my opinion the
Disney Dining Plans are a wonderful investment. They allow you to enjoy many restaurants and character dining experiences while saving money. My family loves it and we barely ever travel without using it. I hope you find it just as wonderful.
Keosha, when you make an
Advanced Dining Reservation it is not automatically linked to your Disney Dining Plan. It will, however show up in your
My Disney Experience account. Once you arrive at the dining location, your server will ask you if you will be using the Disney Dining Plan to pay for your meal, or if you will be paying out of pocket. At the end of the meal he will scan your
MagicBand if you are paying with Disney Dining Plan credits and deduct the number of credits used. Many time my family will book more meals than we have credits for and we just pay out of pocket. Pro Tip: If you do book meals you wish to pay for out of pocket, book breakfasts. Breakfast menus have the lowest prices, and they are a wonderful way to energize for a thrilling day at the Theme Parks.
I hope this has helped. If we can answer any other questions for you, please drop in again.
Dream as Dreamers Do,
Jen
