Ok I know this sounds silly, but here goes. I'm heading to Disney Sept 27- Oct 3rd. I will be celebrating my (cough, cough) 40th birthday. If I attend the Not So Scary Halloween Party, can I dress as my favorite princess, or are costumes just for kids?

Tina, you do not sound silly at all!  I highly recommend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  It's great fun and a must-do for our family, even though we're not typically 'Halloween people.'

Not only are you allowed to dress up, I would actually encourage it!  You will see just as many adults in costume as not, and from my firsthand experience it's more fun to dress up!  The first year we attended the party I was unprepared and my husband and I did not wear costumes.  When we arrived and I saw all the wonderful and creative ones around me, I vowed I'd be joining them the next year.  And join we did!  Our family generally picks a theme and we all dress up together.

So yes, definitely celebrate your birthday in royal style, and have a fabulous time!  Don't forget your tiara!
