Ok, I know this is such a random question....are there any blow-dryers in our room? We will be cruising on the Disney Wonder this April in a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah. The less things I need to pack the better.

Welcome aboard, Seferina! That is not a random question by any means! That was one of the questions I wanted to know before I set sail with Disney Cruise Line the first time too!

I'm happy to tell you that each stateroom on the Disney Wonder has a hairdryer, so no need to pack your own. The hairdryers are the type that are built into the wall unit in the bathroom. I will tell you that they are much less powerful than your regular hair dryer at home. That being said, they work perfectly well, though my hair takes longer to dry. If you find that you don't like those particular dryers, stop by Guest Services, just off the atrium lobby. They have a limited amount of regular hair dryers available there on a first come, first served basis. You'll need to fill out a rental form for these, though they are free of charge. You'll note on the form though that if you do not return the hair dryer at the end of the cruise, your onboard account will be charged $50, so don't forget to return it! As long as you can remember to do that, it's much easier than taking up precious suitcase space to bring your own from home.

Let me know how else I can help you, Seferina, as you continue to plan your cruise this Spring!
