Aloha Mark, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. Your phone can unlock lots of magic on your Disney World vacation!
I love the convenience of using Apple Pay and I’ve been using it at the majority of Disney World stores and dining locations recently. I haven’t personally used it at
‘Ohana, but I chatted with a Cast Member and they confirmed that all Disney-owned table service restaurants take Apple Pay, so you should be good to go!
If you’re staying at a
Disney Resort hotel, there’s also a second way you can pay with your phone. And it comes with many other helpful features!
MagicMobile Service does most of what
MagicBands can do, but right from your phone’s mobile wallet. This includes scanning into the theme parks, linking PhotoPass pictures, checking in at Virtual Queue and Lightning Lane entrances, and charging food and merchandise purchases to your room.
To get that setup, you’ll also need to create a
MyDisney account and download the
My Disney Experience app, if you haven’t already. Even if you don’t plan on setting up MagicMobile, the app will be your guide to the Most Magical Place on Earth. You can use it to navigate the theme parks, look at attraction wait times, book
Lightning Lane Passes, join
Virtual Queues, preview your
PhotoPass photos, and
mobile order food. It’s also an easy way to look up showtimes. If you’re having dinner at ‘Ohana, you might want to check when
Happily Ever After and the
Electrical Water Pageant are running. The beach at the
Polynesian is a great spot to watch both shows!
I hope this helps keep your park bag a little lighter while you’re out and about at Disney World! If you have any more questions, we’d love to have you back at planDisney.
