Hi Mollie, welcome to planDisney!
'Ohana is a great breakfast choice. Stitch merchandise is everywhere right now, and it reminds me of the yummy pineapple-coconut breakfast bread here.
Theme Park car parks typically open just over an hour before the Park opens. On the date you mentioned, this would be just before 7:30am, so I'm not sure this will give you enough time to make your dining reservation in time.
Guests with dining reservations at Disney Resort Hotels, such as
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, receive complimentary parking. However, please note that the Resort's longer-term parking is reserved for overnight Guests. Therefore, after your meal, you are kindly requested to relocate your car.
To park at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, the security guard at the gate entrance will ask for proof of your reservation. Depending on availability, they may provide you with a pass for a specific time limit. Once you have received the pass, you can park your car and enjoy your dining experience. When you are ready, take the short drive to Magic Kingdom Park's parking lot, and you're set for the day.
An alternative option would be to book a rideshare, such as
Lyft, to your dining reservation that morning. You could then hop on the Monorail to Magic Kingdom Park and enjoy your day. After a day of rides, parades and fun, simply order another Lyft home. The viability of this choice depends on convenience versus cost, but bear in mind the
cost of parking at Theme Parks for non-Disney Resort hotel Guests.
The final alternative is modifying your dining reservation to later that morning. That way, you can park at
Magic Kingdom Park, enjoy a few magical hours that morning and head to Disney Polynesian for brunch! We like to do this to get a little break from the hustle and bustle in the Parks, returning in the afternoon refreshed and ready for the rest of the day.
I hope this information helps a little, Mollie. Please do pop back to us at planDisney with any other questions.
Have a magical day,
Louise
