Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Samantha! I am so happy you stopped by.
'Ohana at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is one of my family's absolute favorite places to dine. We make sure to have breakfast with Experiment 626 every time we visit and also have dinner every chance we get.
One of my favorite things about 'Ohana is the amazing
menu served family-style; however, because I have a little one with a milk allergy, I know that dining away from home is always a nerve-wracking experience. Samantha, in my opinion, there is no place on earth that handles
special dietary requests and allergies better than Walt Disney World Resort.
If you are looking for dairy-free alternatives for breakfast, the amazing chefs at 'Ohana have got you covered! While you will not be able to nosh on the Pineapple-Coconut Breakfast Bread, dairy-free Mickey-shaped waffles are always available. Additionally, your other entrees can be prepared in their own skillet to reduce the chance of cross-contamination.
For the dinner service, most offerings are already dairy free! When you sit down to your meal, your Cousin will be able to bring you some dairy-free rolls and butter. When we last visited, we were offered Enjoy Life cookies topped with dairy-free ice cream at the conclusion of the meal.
If you happen to have any room left after your meal, head downstairs to the the
Pineapple Lanai for a delicious dairy-free Dole Whip! This makes the perfect treat to enjoy on the beach while you gaze at an amazing view of Cinderella Castle.
Make sure to make a note in your reservation that you will be dining with allergies and notify your server of your dietary requirements, and they will make sure that you have something both safe and delicious. In most cases, the chef will come out to make sure that they understand your request and prepare a delicious meal just for you!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and please come back if we can help as you plan your Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride!
