Oh boy I'm back, I also would like to know what is the best room closer to food :) and transportation at Animal Kingdom Lodge? Thank you all for your help :)

    Hi, Donna!

Welcome back! I'm so glad that you've found the Moms Panel helpful in planning your "Disney time"! So it sounds as if you're considering a stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. This unique resort has so much to offer and is one of my family's favorite places to stay! If you're looking to be close to the restaurants (there are three!) and bus transportation, I would recommend a Pool View guest room in the Giraffe Trail section. I have personally stayed in this room type and enjoy the location. The Uzima Pool area is nicely landscaped so you'll have a pleasant view from your balcony of the tropical palms with the sun's rays glinting off the surface of the pool behind the lush foliage. Rooms in this part of the resort (Giraffe Trail) do not have direct views of the savanna, but they will place you nearest to dining and transportation.

To view the layout of the resort, follow this link to the interactive map of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you about the amazing Animal Kingdom Lodge or assist you further with your planning.
