It's never too early to be planning for the
Halloween Season at the Disneyland Resort. Indeed, it's my favorite time of year to visit because I love the spooky but fun vibe that takes over the entire Resort and the Cast Members do such a wonderful job decorating.
Oogie Boogie Bash is an incredibly popular After Hours Party held at Disney California Adventure that consistently sells out every year. It's good that you're preparing early. Disney has not made any announcements about ticket sales, but historically, ticket sales for this event have begun on the last Tuesday in June (for instance, ticket sales began on June 27 last year). They'll definitely make an announcement about ticket sales before that happens, so I would recommend following the
Disney Parks Blog to be among the first to hear about it. In fact, they might make a Halfway to Halloween post coming up very soon!
I truly wish you the best of luck in obtaining tickets to this event! I love how Disney keeps adding Villains to the roster and it's exciting to keep going back and seeing what they've added. There's actually a fairly
rich backstory to Oogie Boogie Bash and the Imagineers have really created quite a party! Plus, you'll hopefully get to see the new
Grounds Expansion for the Haunted Mansion which is opening later this year!
