Hi there, Karen!
A big advantage to staying at a
Disney Vacation Club resort is the amenities really give your villa a home away from home sort of feel. From a pot to brew your first vacation morning cup of coffee to a washer and dryer in the 1-bedroom and larger villas to pack all clean clothes to go home, there's a bit of everything in your DVC villa.
I will say that on my last three DVC stays, there is a pack and play still in the closet. I have a friend who had a different experience about two months ago, and there was not a pack and play in the closet at her villa. In talking to a cast member about this, she was told that in some cases, guests request they be removed, along with the high chair, in order to have more storage space when a guest comes without young children.
In any case, there isn't a problem calling the front desk and asking them to deliver one for you. In rare instances, you may be able to request a regular crib, but not all resorts have them, and not all resorts have them available when you want them. The pack and plays are a much more common amenity.
Did you know you can also get guard rails for the beds? These are available on a first come, first served basis, but for an older child who is a little too big for a pack and play but a bit too small for a traditional bed, these are awesome.
Wishing you the most magical vacation, Karen!
