    How often does Disney add last minute Extra Magic hours?

    Hi Jennifer,

    The addition of extra Extra Magic Hours is rare - so rare that I can't recall hearing of this happening. However, it's not uncommon for Disney to extend regular park hours. This may happen when Disney finds that hotel bookings are stronger than expected - they will add park hours to accommodate the additional guests that will be on property. As a very rough guess, I'd say that this might happen 8 or 10 times a year. Sometimes the change in hours will be announced a few days or weeks in advance and sometimes it happens at the very last minute. There's really no way to predict.
