Welcome to planDisney, Breyonta! We are glad you brought your question to us today. It is important to "
Know Before You Go"!
You'll find a list of prohibited items in the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules. The maximum allowable bag size is also given there. Bags or backpacks cannot be larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. All persons and bags will undergo a security screening process before entering the theme parks.
One common question we receive here at planDisney is if
Guests are permitted to bring their own snacks and beverages into the theme parks -- and the answer is yes! Alcohol and glass containers are prohibited, but if you'd like to bring in a coffee, bottled water, or a refillable water bottle you are welcome to do so. Summertime in Florida means frequent rain showers, so pack that rain gear! Umbrellas are allowed, but it is recommended that you hold your umbrella in your hand as you pass through security rather than keeping it in your bag.
If there are specific items that you are wondering about, please feel free to
write us back, and we'll be happy to let you know. Also, I thought you might enjoy

Breyonta, I hope you have a wonderful time at
