Hello there!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for visiting us with your Disney World question. I'm happy to try and help with some budget planning ideas, so you can hopefully get a vacation booked... and kick-off a magical countdown!
At this time, there is no special pricing offered for homeschool. However, I will tell you the best place to check... that I personally use to watch for Disney deals to book a trip for my family! It's the Disney World
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page. Sometimes you will find a discount on Disney vacation packages, which is booking both a Disney Resort and theme park tickets together. I like this option because it's nice and flexible. Currently, it requires just a $200 refundable deposit (prices subject to change). This also allows you to reserve your preferred Disney Resort and dates, and make payments of any amount and frequency leading up to your vacation date. The full balance will be due 30 days before check-in.
One other option I'd recommend looking into is
Disney Imagination Campus. Although the website says they don't offer this to individual students, perhaps there is a
student group you are affiliated with, that could take advantage of this opportunity?
When my kids were younger we used to always visit Disney World during "off season" times, which was basically any time kids were traditionally scheduled to be in school. If you have the flexibility with your homeschool schedule to do the same... I think you will find both lower crowds and lower prices. September is one of the best value months. Other value dates include late August, and January through mid-February.
I hope this gives you some good options for planning a pixie-dusted adventure for your homeschool kiddo! Please feel free to send me a
message at planDisney if I can help with anything else.
Magical memories await!
