    Do you offer a complimentary ticket to my daughter when she goes to Magic Kingdom on her birthday July 27 2013. What other suggestions do you have to help us celebrate her birthday on this day?

    While Disney did offer a promotion which featured a free Theme Park ticket on your birthday a few years ago, it is no longer going on. Sorry!

    BUT, that doesn't mean you can't have a wonderful birthday celebration! The very first thing to do is pick up a Birthday button when you enter the Magic Kingdom. This button can be found at Guest Services in Town Hall. While the button doesn't automatically "give" you anything, its a fun way to let Cast Members (and other guests too) know that you're celebrating a special day. Anything is possible when everyone knows its your birthday - we've had the most wonderful birthday wishes given to us, sometimes a special dessert or ice cream cone may find its way to her or even a special experience such as riding up front at Small World. The possibilities are endless!

    If you'd like to take a little more control over the celebration, Disney restaurants also offer a (paid) birthday cake that can be ordered at the podium at any sit-down restaurant. Custom cakes - the sky is the limit - can be arranged in advance as well (407-827-2253).

    During one of my daughter's favorite birthday celebrations at Walt Disney World, we had used iron-on decals to make her a birthday t-shirt. Her favorite rides were on the front and "It's My Birthday" was on the back. A Cast Member noticed and made sure we were escorted right to the front of the line for one of the rides. Such a fun and memorable experience that could not have happened anywhere else on earth!
