Ahoy there, Sarah!
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for bringing your question to us as you plan for your
Magic at Sea holiday.
I love the convenience of
In-Room Dining aboard Disney Cruise Line. Room Service is delivered 24 hours a day and until 1:30 a.m. on the final day of your cruise. I enjoy having a little snack delivered while I'm getting ready for dinner and one of my Disney cruise traditions is ordering a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar on the final night of my cruise. I highly recommend it!
Sarah, many room service menu items are complimentary, but you are correct that most beverages from room service, including soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, are available for an additional fee. Hot coffee and tea are complimentary, as are glasses of water (but not water bottles).
You will find complimentary soft drinks at table-service restaurants during breakfast, lunch and dinner, at Cabanas and the 24-hour Beverage Stations located on the pool deck.
You can view the Room Service menu on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you board the ship or ask your stateroom host for a menu. While the service is complimentary, I always like to have a few extra dollars on hand to show gratitude to the Crew Member who made my special delivery.
I'll share with you one of my favorite ways to combine ice cream and coke into one delicious treat! Stop by
Eye Scream Treats, named after the one and only Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc., for a cup of complimentary soft-served ice cream, and then top it off with your favorite soft drink at the beverage station. It is a perfect complimentary combination!
Thanks for stopping by with your great question, Sarah. Please sail by again with other questions you have as you continue to plan for your vacation.
Wishing you many magical moments,
Shannon
