This October, my partner and I are taking my Mother to Disney World. This will be her first time, and we are staying at the Beach Club Resort Villas. My Mother is 70 years old, and we want this to be the vacation of her lifetime. Any ideas are welcome!

What a nice son you are!

First you've chose a great resort for your mom. I am on vacation right now at WDW and am writing this to you from my room at the Beach Club Villas. My 60-something parents have also been with us here. I think you will all be very happy at the Villas. The rooms are quite spacious and have all comforts of home. Plus, we all LOVE the location of the Beach Club. We are big Epcot dining fans and love having the ability to walk back to our room quickly after dinner.

And speaking of Epcot, there are many great experiences for seniors there. My parents loved both Soarin' and the Living with Land attractions in the Land pavilion. If your mom likes gardening, you could take her on the special "Behind the Seeds" tour at Epcot. This tour allows you to walk through all the cool hydroponic gardens at the Land and see how the caretakers there maintain all the wonderful vegetation. My folks also enjoyed new Spaceship Earth ride. This ride has undergone a major overhaul in the past few months and it is in great shape now. There are some special surprises at the end of the attraction that are sure to delight your mom.

For the "vacation of a lifetime" you're going to want to treat mom to some of the wonderful signature dining experiences at WDW. My favorite restaurant on property is Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge. Another great treat would be to schedule dinner at the California Grill in the Contemporary resort during the Magic Kingdom fireworks. So special!

    Have a great trip.
