Hi, Oct trip planned w/3 other families. Looking to book a dinner one night for all of us - 24 total. Can the Ale&Compass fit a party this big? One table not necessary but next to each other if possible. If not, what other places might fit us?

    Hi there, Karen!

I am currently planning a vacation with three other families, so I totally understand the anxiety of finding a place where you will all fit and enjoy a nice meal.

My family just ate at the new Ale & Compass. Before I ate there, I would have been surprised that this hidden gem would have been able to accommodate a large group, but now that I've been there and seen the open and spacious area, I believe they can accommodate your party. There are opportunities there to link tables together, but even in the event that they can't seat you all at the same connected table, they will absolutely try to keep you all in the same area.

Other restaurants to look into include Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. This is a fun, family friendly restaurant that has a larger space where they can try to seat you all in the same area. Boma Flavors of Africa is another large group friendly dining location.

One of my large group favorites is 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort. I've been to wedding celebration dinners here, and with the great food and fun atmosphere, it's really a popular spot.

Your best bet for a group this size is to call 407-939-3463 and ask for group dining. There are some restaurants, such as 1900 Park Fare and the Biergarten at Epcot, that will allow you to book for this number online, but the others will have to be arranged over the phone.

    Have an absolutely magical time!
