Oct 2-9 Can't Wait!!. Fantasmic has 2 shows that week. Afraid if I go for the 2nd it could be rained out, but know the 1st show will be packed especially w/EMH that night. Which would you recommend?

    Hi Heather,

Fantasmic is my oldest son's absolute favorite show in all of Disney World. It is a must do for us on every trip. You are correct that the second showing is often less crowded, but during the early part of October, the overall crowds at Disney World are usually smaller than later in the month.

One option you may want to consider is to make a dinner seating with the Fantasmic dinner package. This package is offered at Mama  Melrose, Hollywood and Vine or Brown Derby. The package offers dinner at one of these three locations, along with a special entry pass for seating during the show. While the seats are not reserved, you will have admission into a reserved section for just guests on the dinner package which will help with the seating availability and crowds. These packages can be booked by calling 407-939-3463.

If you choose to reserve the Fantasmic dinner package, I would opt for the first show. If you are not interested in the package, I would choose the second show and hope for clear weather. If the weather looks like it may change, you can always decide to try the earlier show. The good news is the rainfall in October is typically minimal and often does not effect shows at that time of the year.

Hope you have a gorgeous night and enjoy the show!
