It just occurred to me that I might have some difficulty making our dining reservations because my mother booked the trip. She however is not to be trusted with the dining reservations. What info do I need to have when I call?

    Hi Julie

Wow, we must have the same mom,  mine would forget the dining reservations too. The advance dining reservation system is so easy to use and requires just some basic information. You can call 407-WDW-DINE or 407-939-3463 starting ninety days before your arrival. When calling, the very helpful cast member will ask you for the date of the reservation, where you would like to dine, what time and how many people are in the party. They will want to know if there are any children and if so what the ages are (don't worry, that is ages of the children not you ) and if you will need any booster or high chairs. They will ask if you are on any type of Disney dining plan, what resort you are staying in and what your arrival date is. The last part of information will be your name and contact number. Once this information is entered into the computer, you will receive a confirmation number for each of your reservations. Be sure to write these numbers down.

While on property all you need to do is check in at the appropriate hostess stand around fifteen minutes prior to your reservation time, with your name and confirmation number. That's it, so easy even your mom could do it. Hope you have a magical time!
