My 7 YO is obsessed with (at-home) massages. He found out there is a spa on the Disney Cruise & has told everyone he's getting a massage on the cruise. While it might be super pricey, I'd love to indulge him, can my 7 YO told get a massage w/ Dad?

Hi again, Mindy! You've got a little spa-connoisseur on your hands, don't you? That's really sweet!

As you know, the Disney Magic is being re-imagined and renovated this fall, so by the time you set sail you'll be enjoying all the new amenities it has to offer. One of these new features is Chill Spa, the teen spa that has been so popular on the Dream and the Fantasy. While this is really just for teens, I did speak with a representative at Disney Cruise Line who told me that at times, they have given special permission for younger children to participate in a father-son or mother-daughter treatment in Chill Spa, however this is certainly not guaranteed.

On the Chill Spa webpage, you'll see the Father-Son Chill Out Massages are some of the treatment offerings. Since your son isn't a teen, these cannot be booked ahead of time, so stop by Chill Spa the first day of your cruise and chat with the Cast Members there about this possibility. You may or may not be able to book something like that for your son, but even if you can't, I promise your son is in for some real fun both onboard the ship and in the ports during your magical sailing!

Stop back again, Mindy! I'm always happy to help with your questions!
