When will NYE 2025 events be posted?

    Hello Kate!

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I'm ready to help in... 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!

I'm excited to hear you're already counting down to year-end festivities at Walt Disney World Resort. Though I've experienced holiday events like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and always enjoy the beautiful decor in the parks and resorts, I have yet to ring in a New Year in the middle of the magic. Based on past events, it sounds like something I need to pencil in on my to-do list!

Last year, final details on entertainment offerings were released just a few days ahead of New Year's Eve. Guests enjoyed special fireworks presentations at Magic Kingdom Park on both December 30th and 31st, while another fireworks countdown happened at EPCOT as the clock ticked toward midnight. Dance parties were scheduled at both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios as well.

We likely won't see details for this year's events until much closer to the dates but guests can probably expect some extended theme park hours that week. I'd keep an eye on the park hours as your travel dates approach and stay tuned to Disney Parks Blog for the latest information as it becomes available.

Speaking of the Disney Parks Blog, did you see this post about movie moments you can sync with your New Year's Eve countdown? I think it's such a fun idea if you decide not to visit the parks and enjoy a relaxing evening at home.

Kate, I'm sorry I don't have a more clear answer for you today but please come back to planDisney with any additional questions. We're always happy to share any details we have to make your visit memorable.

    Magic and memories,
