Hiya, Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm so excited that you and your daughter are getting ready for an extra magical trip to
Walt Disney World Resort! I recently traveled to The Most Magical Place on Earth with my mom, who also has diabetes, and I'm happy to give you all of my best tips so your daughter stays healthy and happy during your vacation. Let's talk about meals, snacks, and nutrition!
Jennifer, I completely understand your need for tracking nutritional information for your daughter. While there isn't this type of information available online, my best piece of advice would be to reach out to the
Special Diets team at
Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. This is a great option for Guests who have either four or more allergy-friendly requests, require pureed meals, or adhere to a medically-restrictive diet. The Special Diets team will be happy to help navigate the dining process when contacted within 14 days of your arrival.
Here are a few other tips:
- Consider making a few advance dining reservations. When making your reservations, you'll be able to indicate special dietary requests. You'll also likely be able to speak with the chef if you have specific questions or need additional guidance.
- The First Aid centers at Walt Disney World Resort are great resources in the parks! This is a great place to stop if you need a place to cool down, test, or receive assistance.
- Download and explore the My Disney Experience app. This will make mobile ordering your meals and snacks a breeze, letting you pick healthier options that will be just right for your daughter.
I hope I was able to point you in the right direction today, Jennifer! I'm sending you and your daughter all the faith, trust, and pixie dust on your upcoming trip.
See ya real soon!
