November 22, 2011 How much time should I allow to travel by monorail from MK to a 4:40 reservation for afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian. Love this panel by the way!

Hi Kelly! I recently had afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian Garden View Tea Room with some of my fellow Moms here on the Panel, and it was so lovely. You can reach the Grand Floridian in a jiffy from the Magic Kingdom -- you'll be there in 15 minutes or less on the monorail. There's also a boat that travels between the Grand Floridian and the Magic Kingdom. When you're walking to the monorail station, if you see the boat at the dock or heading toward it, take it instead of the monorail. You'll arrive at the Grand Floridian a little quicker, since the monorail stops at other resorts before Grand Floridian, but the boat doesn't.

Enjoy your afternoon tea! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
