    What are the not-to-be-missed holiday decorations outside of the parks? I know that the parks are decorated, but what else? Love the panel -- wish I'd known about it sooner!

    Thank you so much for the compliment, I'm so pleased you love the panel!

    Christmas is such a magical time at WDW, the decorations are so beautiful in the parks and in the resorts. Although all the resorts are gorgeous my personal favourites are the giant Gingerbread House at the Grand Floridian Resort, complete with smoking chimney, and the carousel at the Beach Club.

    A great way to spend a few hours is to board the resort monorail at the Magic Kingdom and head for the Contemporary to look at their decorations. Catch the monorail again to the Polynesian where you'll normally find Cast Members hand made gingerbread houses, from here walk along the beach to the Grand Floridian and gaze in awe at the gingerbread house. If you still have some time catch a bus to the Beach Club from the Magic Kingdom and explore all the Boardwalk Resorts.

    In just a few hours you should be able to see some gorgeously decorated resorts!
