    I noticed that UpCountry in AK says open seasonal. What is seasonal times I will be there in Sept 2015 and would like to get their souvenior mugs Are they going to be open

    Hi, Sharon! Thanks for swinging by with your question. Having a nice, cool drink on a hot day in Disney's Animal Kingdom Park is definitely a "bare necessity." Luckily, Upcountry Beverages has you covered with some pretty tasty drinks in some of the coolest tumblers you will find.

    I have seen this beverage location's hours on some websites being listed as "seasonal." However, I have noticed it open each time I have visited the park the past few years, which has been during peak and nonpeak periods. I really hope you have a chance to stop by this location and enjoy a Triple Yeti Blast or the Shangri-La Berry Freeze. Look for this small kiosk on the walkway between the Africa and Asia sections of the park, near Flights of Wonder. There is not really a place to sit and enjoy your frozen concoctions at that spot. However, look across the way and there are some covered tables and chairs, the perfect spot for a bear to rest at ease with just the bare necessities of life.

    Guests are able to purchase the drinks at Upcountry Beverages with or without the souvenir tumblers. My daughters never miss a chance to collect another Disney container, and there are two here that we definitely had to add to our collection a couple of months ago. Their favorite one is the musical tumbler, of course! The handle is an Ocarina and comes with instructions to help you play the classic Disney songs "I Just Can't Wait to be King" and "It's a Small World."

    If by chance Upcountry Beverages is closed during your visit, you can find the tumblers you seek at other locations across the park. Dawa Bar in Africa serves several of their luscious concoctions in the African Mask tumbler. Harambe Popcorn in the Discovery Island area serves a Jungle Juice slushie, which is a mixture of  guava, passion fruit, and orange juices, in the musical tumbler.
