I noticed that the table service dining options are fewer on the 2016 dining plan than previous years, particularly many of the Epcot restaurants. Will this likely change?

    Hi Katie,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question today!

It sounds like you're busy making dining plans for your upcoming trip.  Excellent idea!  It's always good to have those Table-Service reservations in place before you arrive.  That way,  you know you have times that work well for your group and restaurants that fit your your taste.  No one likes going hungry on vacation!

It's always a bit of a waiting game this time of year when it comes to the Disney Dining Plan. I'm sure the folks at Disney are working hard on finalizing the contracts so that the list of participating Table-Service restaurants on the 2016 Disney Dining Plan can be updated, but the finalized list doesn't usually appear until sometime in January.  While there are never any guarantees, it's been my experience that restaurants that participated in the Disney Dining Plan during the previous year will again participate in the new year, so I'm confident you'll see locations added in the coming months, including at Epcot. You can get a good idea of that list by looking at the 2015 Disney Dining Plan information.  I'd also keep an eye out for restaurants at Disney Springs that might be participating next year.  There are some amazing new additions there that I cannot wait to try!

I hope that helps, Katie, and wishing you delicious dining on your Walt Disney World vacation!
