I have noticed the rules indicate "loose ice" is not permitted in the parks. Does that include ice in a sealed bag/container?

    Hi there, James!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m elated you stopped by with your question!

Planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort is one of my favorite things to do, and I like to plan for absolutely any ordeal for the day. Thankfully, the few times I don’t have what I need, I can get it at the Theme Parks, be it wipes from the Baby Care Centers, or a poncho from the Emporium shop at Magic Kingdom Park!

According to the Walt Disney World Property Rules, “Loose or dry ice is not permitted in these (suitcases, bags, coolers, or backpacks) containers. Re-usable ice packs are recommended.” We usually bring freezer packs that have worked well for us if we need to keep things cool, but no type of loose ice. I also like to freeze our water bottles. We like to drink them as they thaw in the Florida heat. It's always important for us to keep cool and not have any "meltdowns."

We also like bringing a reusable water bottle with us. There are many locations around the Theme Parks that offer cool water, no purchase necessary. We refill our water bottles with the ice cold water, and it helps us stay hydrated at the Parks!

James, I hope you and your family have the coolest vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
