Hello, I noticed the princess promenade isn't available on Tuesdays. Since that's the only day we are there, can you suggest another similar activity? thank you!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sarah!

Although the Princess Promenade isn’t on the official list of activities at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, it is one of several “surprise” Character sightings you might witness during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. If you want to guarantee a magical experience for your little princess, though, there are several options you may consider.

If you aren’t planning to visit a Theme Park on your Tuesday stay and will just be at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, I would highly recommend Disney’s Perfectly Princess Tea. This event takes place most mornings at 9 a.m. and advance reservations are strongly suggested. It includes a bevy of enchanted goodies for your princess to take home, as well as an assortment of sweet and savory treats to enjoy with tea (apple juice for the little ones), a princess parade and sing-along.

If you’re looking for something a little later in the day, Afternoon Tea is also offered in the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa’s Garden View Tea Room each day from noon until 4 p.m. Although Afternoon Tea doesn’t include visits from Disney Princesses, your little one is still welcome to dress in her Princess best to enjoy this experience. (My daughter chose to wear her Merida dress when we last visited.) Afternoon Tea is one of my daughter’s favorite “Mommy and Me” times, and she requests it for each of our Walt Disney World Resort visits.

I’m not sure when you’re planning to arrive, but a new Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique location is also set to open later this summer at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Currently there are locations at both Magic Kingdom Park and Disney Springs, but the Grand Floridian location might be a perfect opportunity for your princess to get an extra dose of Pixie Dust in conjunction with one of the tea parties.

Check out the other Disney Princess Entertainment & Attractions on the Walt Disney World Resort website and let us know if there are any other questions we can answer to help make your princess’ visit practically perfect in every way.
