Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    I noticed Polynesian has construction going on. Can we still watch MK wishes from the beach or can we get to it? Thinking of eating @KonaCafe then viewing from beach. Any other ideas? Thank you so much. (May 4, 2014)

    Hi Paula,

    Having experienced my first Wishes from the beaches of the Polynesian this December, I will say it is a great location to see the show. The music is playing on the beach and you can see the whole show in front of you. Plus if you have a child who does not like the noise of the fireworks, this is a much quieter location.

    The Kona Cafe is a great option for dinner prior to the show. This is a guest favorite! I do know that Capt. Cook's is temporarily being relocated and that Dole Whips are on hold until construction is finished.

    Another option could be to dine at either the Wave in the Contemporary Resort or 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian and then head to the beach. Both of these options are family favorites.
