I have noticed that with the free dining the value resorts gets the quick service dining and the moderate resorts get the table service dining plan. Is there a way to stay in value resort and get the table service dining plan when they are free?

Hi Michelle! I'll begin by saying how much I've enjoyed vacations using Disney's free dining promotion! Kids love it and so do I! You are correct in that staying at a value resort entitles you to the Quick Service dining plan, and those staying at either moderate or deluxe resorts are given the Basic dining plan. The only way to upgrade to Basic dining from Quick service dining would be to pay the difference between the two. It works out to about an additional $15.00 per person per night. They do not upgrade from QS to Basic without either changing resorts or charging the additional fee. Hope this helps you plan a magical vacation! -Malanie

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
