Hi Stephanie,
Thanks so much for bringing your great question about the
online check-in service here to us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
There are currently some enhancements being made to My Disney Experience, so if the room requests feature is not functioning properly, first, rest assured that the rest of your online check-in experience will still work just fine. If you booked the trip yourself, I'd suggest calling a Cast Member at 407-934-7639 and they'll be happy to note any specific room requests that you have. If you have more than one, be sure to let them know which one is most important to you. While room requests are never guaranteed, they want Guests' vacations to be as magical as possible, so they'll certainly try to accommodate your request! If you booked your trip through a travel agent, you'll need to have them call to make your room requests.
With the online check-in service, your arrival will be a breeze. You'll be notified by text and/or email when your room is ready, or you may use the
My Disney Experience app to find your room information, and you won't even need to stop by the front desk! Also, did you know that you're considered a Guest of your
Disney Resort hotel for the entire day of both your check-in and check-out? If you arrive before your room is ready, feel free to enjoy all of the amenities and recreation opportunities that your Resort hotel has to offer!
Please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip, Stephanie, and we'll be happy to help. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
