There is a note on the pool page at DLH that says "Our orange monorail waterslide is currently closed for refurbishment and is scheduled to reopen this summer." Is this the 80' or 180' slide? Can we swim at other properties?

    Welcome to planDisney, Kelle!

Can you believe that your stay at the Disneyland Hotel is almost here? I'm so excited for you! There is so much to love about the Disneyland Hotel, including the dining options, proximity to the Disneyland Monorail, and the magical headboards in every hotel room!

There are two main water slides at the Disneyland Hotel. The orange monorail waterslide, which is 180 feet long, is currently closed due to refurbishment. I spoke to a Cast Member at the Disneyland Hotel who shared that the other waterslides are operating this summer. However, they did mention that you can use the pools at the Pixar Place Hotel while the orange monorail waterslide is being refurbished. Golf cart transportation to the Pixar Place Hotel is also available by requesting this service from a Recreation Cast Member near the pools of the Disneyland Hotel.

Kelle, did you know that when you are staying at the Disneyland Hotel you can also enjoy the pools of the Villas at the Disneyland Hotel? Just follow the fairy-dusted path leading to the NEW Discovery Tower where you will find the palette-shaped pool, Steamboat Willie splash pad, and the Palm Breeze Bar.

I hope this answers your question, Kelle. I wish you the happiest stay at The Happiest Place on Earth!

    Your Pal,
