I do not want to watch fireworks from a park. Is there a resort that has the best view of fireworks? Staying April 1-6. What resort and where to watch. Also, I have heard of a water parade at a resort - do you know anything about that or am I wrong?

    Hey Chris!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom Panel!

There are many locations outside of the Magic Kingdom to watch Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. By far, my absolute favorite is the beach at Disney's Polynesian Resort.

Every trip to Walt Disney World my family choses one night to eat dinner at Captain Cook's quick service restaurant on the 1st floor of the Polynesian then grab a Dole Whip and head out to the beach to watch the Electrical Water Pageant and Wishes.

It looks like the Electrical Water Pageant is at 9:00 p.m. and Wishes is at 10:00 p.m. every day of your stay. I would suggest arriving on the beach no later than 8:50 p.m. to get a guaranteed beach chair and a great view of both events. While waiting for Wishes to begin there is usually a Movies Under The Stars showing. For more information on the movies and times you can check with the front desk or call (407) 939-2273.

Other locations to watch Wishes outside the Magic Kingdom include the Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, California Grille at Disney's Contemporary Resort and the beach at the Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.

I hope this helps you plan a magical Disney vacation. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.

    Have a pixie-dusted day!
