I can not wait for the magic to begin for my daughters. Traveling to Walt Disney World Nov 11th - Nov 19th. Should I still plan our days to the parks around the information I have read regarding the busiest days at the parks. thank you

    Hi Misty,

I am so excited for you and your daughters! The week you are planning to go is generally not busy because most guests will be travelling the following week for Thanksgiving break. As a special treat, you will see holiday decorations going up in some locations because all of Walt Disney World will be decorated by Thanksgiving for the holiday season.

When I plan my vacation, I do try to avoid the busy days in the parks. In general, I alternate long touring days with short days. EPCOT has a lot of walking so I follow that day with a day at Disney Hollywood Studios which has shows to watch and we sit and rest our feet!

Also, if I am going to Animal Kingdom, I back this day with a half day of another park or head to Downtown Disney for some shopping.

Remember to stick to the schedule that works best for your family. My family gets up and out to the parks whereas Laura's family likes to sleep in and see the fireworks.

Finally, have fun and enjoy the small things!
