we do not want to trade/switch our DDP for any of the 'character' meals, etc., so - i'm assuming we will have to still make reservations and pay extra for those - just want to be sure so i can work into budget! great panel ! thanks. pam/tn

Anyone on the dining plan is also welcome to purchase additional meals or additional menu items that are not on the plan. When you're at the restaurant, simply tell your server that you'd like to pay with cash (credit card, travelers checks, etc.) rather than with dining plan credits.

And yes, you should plan to make reservations for any table service meal you'd like to have. This is particularly important for character meals, which do tend to fill quickly. All dining reservations can be made by calling Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE.

    Have a great trip!
