We will not be in town for the Star Wars w/end but wondering if there are Star Wars stuff other times? Any Star War character meet and greets? I've heard about the Jedi training but will not be able to do that since we have a younger child too. Thanks

Welcome back to the Moms Panel, Tracy! As a mom to three Star Wars fans myself, I completely understand wanting to experience any Star Wars themed attractions during your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! Unfortunately, the Star Wars Character Encounters are only available at DIsney's Hollywood Studios during Star Wars Weekends. As you mentioned in your question, Star Wars: Jedi Training Academy is a live show where young Padawans, ages 4 to 12, learn to use the Force as they battle the Dark Side. My boys experienced Star Wars: Jedi Training Academy last May and thoroughly enjoyed it! I would highly recommend this experience for your older child as both boys and girls signed up for the academy! I am happy to tell you that Star Tours - The Adventures Continue is an exciting attraction "not to be missed" for guests that meet the minimum height requirement of 40 inches. If your little one does not meet the minimum height requirement, be sure to ask the cast member at the entrance of the attraction for a Rider Swap. The Rider Swap option gives adults with youngsters too small to experience an attraction the opportunity to ride while the other adult waits with the little one. The adults can then "swap" places. The second group will then be able to ride the attraction with a decreased wait. My family utilized this complimentary perk to all guests many times when our younger children did not meet the minimum height requirement. My older two particularly enjoyed it because they were able to experience the attraction with each parent. I hope this helps! Please don't hesitate to write me back if you have any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Tracy!
