Heigh-Ho Jennifer,
Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney. We are a panel of Guests who have a wealth of Disney knowledge and Walt Disney World travel experience which we love to share with our Fellow Guests.
I think your plan to explore, dine, shop and experience some of the other Walt Disney World Resorts, on your arrival/departure days, is Practically Perfect. With so many dining options, exclusive shops and photo-op moments you may find your next Walt Disney World Home Away From Home. Many times I book an advanced table service restaurant at one of the Walt Disney World Resorts so I can try something new. This has resulted in a couple of new-found favorites such as breakfast at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Cafe and Kona Cafe, lunch or dinner at
Beaches and Cream Soda Shop and dinners at
Boma- Flavors of Africa, California Grill and
Il Mulino. I’ve also enjoyed the atmosphere and unique beverages found at AbracadaBar, Crew’s Cup Lounge or
Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago. But don’t forget about
Disney Springs, I could easily spend a couple of days traversing through the many shops, restaurants and enjoying the entertainment occurring at this happening place. Walt Disney World Resorts is a packaged deal, it’s not just about the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Guests should really get out there and explore what’s around the river bend and discover the possibilities and make even more magical and memorable moments.
