Hi Stacey,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We sure love when friends come to see us again and again, and I'm thrilled to hear that you'll be enjoying another magical Disney vacation real soon!
I know that I'm in the minority, but I actually
enjoy figuring out the budget and finances for our Walt Disney World Resort vacations. I have a spreadsheet just for
dining where I track the estimated cost of each meal, including taxes and gratuities, and I love playing around with meal selections and possible discounts through Disney Vacation Club or an annual pass. Without knowing what your other planned meals are, my first thought is that if you're doing a lot of
character dining, it may be more cost efficient to pay out of pocket for Cinderella's Royal Table. If, however, you'll be using your
Disney Dining Plan for meals that don't cost as much out of pocket, I'd definitely recommend using your Disney Dining Plan entitlements for your Cinderella's Royal Table breakfast. If I were you, I'd plug all of my meals and their estimated costs (which I like to find over at allears.net) into my spreadsheet, to determine exactly which meal would be best to pay out of pocket. If you want to
write me back and let me know which other meals you have planned and whether they're breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and for how many adult and child Guests, I'd be happy to plug your trip into my spreadsheet for you! Of course, if you want to experience all of the FUN of the spreadsheet calculating yourself, I definitely wouldn't blame you!
However you choose to pay for your meal, Stacey, you're going to LOVE starting a magical Disney day feeling like true royalty at
Cinderella's Royal Table. You've made an
excellent choice, and I'm sending all the wishes that you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
Missy
