If we are not staying at a resort and just going to the parks, are we allowed to go to the lobbies and restaurants at the resorts, for a way for the kids to cool down if it is too hot, or if it is raining, for somewhere different to eat.

    Hi Andrea,

You certainly can!  Anyone can visit the resorts of Walt Disney World whether they are staying there or not.  You can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner in one of the restaurants or even just a quick bite, drink or snack in one of the food courts.  If you are looking to cool down, then you can use that as an excuse to do a bit of shopping in one of the gift shops if you are not looking for a meal at that particular time.  Just for your information, you may also rent any of their watercraft's at select WDW Resorts (the Sea Raycer's are our favorites and sooo much fun).  I hope you have a fun and cool trip!

    Best wishes,
    Brigitta
