Hi, Jessica!
Thanks so much for stopping by
planDisney to ask us a question about your upcoming visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort. As a dog owner myself, I understand the need for your four-legged friend to remain happy and safe while traveling with you!
No, you don't have to be a Guest of a
Disney Resort hotel to use Best Friends Pet Care. They offer a variety of services, including boarding, day camp, grooming, and more to the public. The business is conveniently located right inside the Walt Disney World Resort near
EPCOT, with operating hours that are generally one hour before the theme park opens and one hour after the theme park closes.
You may also be able to find individual pet care in the area, such as a one-on-one pet sitter who can stay with your furry friend at your hotel, rental home, or campground. I recommend checking out BringFido.com and Rover.com to help connect you with the facilities and services you may need for your dog during your vacation.
Be sure to check out the Disney Tails merchandise sold at the theme parks and
World of Disney at
Disney Springs during your visit. It’s a “pawsome” collection of Disney-themed toys and other essentials for dogs, like pet beds, food bowls, collars, leads, and even costumes and spirit jerseys! You might find the perfect souvenir to bring back to your good boy or girl.
I hope this helps, Jessica, and that your visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth is pixie-dusted to perfection!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
