We are not staying at one of the Disney Resorts and I am wondering what tips you have on dining in the park on a budget. We have 2 adults and 3 teens in our party and one of our kids is on a special gluten/dairy free diet. Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the Mom's Panel, Yanick!  As a mom of four children myself, I love the fact that Walt DIsney World allows guests to bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages (non-glass containers) into the theme parks. This really helps with the costs you can incur on snacks and drinks throughout the day.  In the past, we have also been able to get a complimentary cup of ice at many quick-service dining locations. We also find ourselves sharing entrees at both quick-service and table-service locations (not all-you-care-to-eat or buffet restaurants) as most Disney restaurants offer hearty portions. In Magic Kingdom for example, you may consider dining at Cosmic Rays Starlight Café, a quick-service location, which features a diverse offering including a 1/2 Rotisserie Chicken, Barbecue Pork Sandwich and other hot items that are sure to please your three teenagers. In Epcot, there are many quick-service locations in World Showcase which give you the opportunity to experience new cuisines without the higher price point you would find at a table-service restaurant. Follow this link to learn more about traveling to Walt Disney World with Special Dietary Requests. I have found that all of the table-service restaurants that I have dined at were very accommodating to my dietary restrictions. I would recommend visiting the unofficial website allears.net to view their extensive list of Walt DIsney World Restaurant menus with pricing. This will give you a better understanding of what you can expect in regards to menu pricing before ever leaving home. I hope this information helps!  Best wishes for a Magical Trip, Yanick!
    Happy Planning,
