Hello, If you are not staying at Fort Wilderness can you still spend the day at the Resort? Can you park your car at the parking lot? Thank you!

Hi there, Cecilia! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop back by and ask your wonderful Walt Disney World Resort question!

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds is such a magical place in my opinion! It's amazing to me that this lush resort is just minutes away from the Magic Kingdom and still captures the magic of the great outdoors perfectly. Guests have the opportunity to explore the 750 acres of forest that make up the campgrounds and may just see a variety of wildlife including armadillos, ducks, deer, and rabbits! You and your family can also embrace the outdoors by taking up fun activities such as archery, horseback riding, canoeing, and so much more

You'll be happy to know that Guests are welcome to come to visit Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds regardless of where they are staying! This means that you and your family can make a day of visiting this massive resort and experiencing all it has to offer! Also, Guests visiting Disney Resort hotels for the day are entitled to complimentary standard parking. This means you should have no problem parking your vehicle at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds as long as you are visiting and utilizing their amenities.

I highly recommend making a point to try some of the fabulous dining locations available at this resort, as well! You and your family will definitively want to grab some grub after a day filled with Disney fun!

Have fun continuing to plan for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
