Hi Theresa,
Welcome to planDisney! Early morning breakfast reservations are a fabulous way to enter the theme parks before they open and get a picture in front of iconic locations without a lot of other guests around.
Disney theme park parking lots will open at least 45 minutes before the theme park opens. If there are Early Entry hours, the parking lots will open with the earliest entry time in mind. I find that most of the time they are open closer to 60 minutes before but this is not guaranteed.
Disney World transportation will also typically begin 45 minutes before each theme park opens. For the date you mentioned, I would plan on all transportation and parking to be open at Magic Kingdom by 7:45 AM because
Early Entry begins at 8:30 AM. The cast members managing the parking lot and transportation will not require any information about whether or not you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel.
Once you arrive at the theme park, there will be an entrance labeled for Early Entry, and there will also be a cast member holding a sign for early morning dining reservations. Find the cast member managing early dining reservations and they will confirm you are on their list and let you in for your dining experience. If you do not see the sign, just ask the nearest cast member and they will help you find the right place to enter. Anyone can make an early dining reservation and you will not be required to show proof that you are a Disney Resort hotel guest to enter for that reservation. You will need to make sure that you have your dining confirmation ready and that all members of your party have valid theme park tickets for the day.
If you have not already made that coveted dining reservation,
Cinderella's Royal Table and
The Crystal Palace are both fabulous ways to start your day at Magic Kingdom. You get to begin your day with hugs from your favorite Disney friends and a delicious array of breakfast options!
Happy Planning,
Jenna
