I'm thrilled to see a question from another fitness enthusiast! I love participating in fitness activities, such as running, yoga, and swimming. I also like to keep up with my fitness routine while I'm on vacation, so I have a few suggestions for you to experience yoga at Walt Disney World.
The Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend in 2023 will include yoga, a 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon!
Disney Princess Yoga will be held on February 23 at 5:30 AM at Disney's Magic Kingdom. While the event is currently sold out, there is a slight possibility that registration could open back up. Keep an eye on the
runDisney website for the latest status and to sign-up.
If you miss the chance to do yoga in February, consider signing up for the
runDisney Springtime Surprise Yoga, which will be held on April 13 at 5:00 AM at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I just checked and registration is open and spots are available! This session includes a one-hour instructor-led yoga experience. You will receive a yoga mat and complimentary water as well.
If you decide to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can enjoy yoga on the resort property prior to hitting the parks. Disney's Contemporary Resort Hotel offers a yoga class on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7:30 AM. This class is for Contemporary or Bay Lake Tower Guests only.
Sunrise Yoga at Saratoga Springs is offered Monday and Wednesday mornings at 7:00 AM at Congress Park. Also, while unofficial, there is a nice grassy knoll at Disney's Magic Kingdom in view of Cinderella Castle. You can always grab a spot and strike a few yoga poses yourself while taking in the amazing ambiance!
