    We are going to Not So Scary Halloween part in Oct13. Before the party, we are going to go to WDW. As a result, I had to buy tickets for before party. How does it work when you enter the park? Do I have to return to entrance & reenter WDW park for pa

    Hi, Donna!

    Congratulations on planning your first visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Only 2 short weeks before you'll be right in the middle of all the magic! Since you have purchased general admission tickets for Magic Kingdom park on the day you plan to attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, I would suggest arriving at park opening (usually 9:00 AM) and hitting your favorite attractions in order of priority. If you plan to spend the entire day and evening in the park, be sure to take frequent breaks so you're not too tired for the Party later that evening (which lasts until midnight). For a wonderful dining experience, head over to Be Our Guest in New Fantasyland around 11:00 AM to queue up for lunch. This restaurant's theming is very elaborate and detailed, so much so that you'll feel as if you've been magically transported inside Disney's Beauty and the Beast film! 

    You will not be required to return to the park entrance or exit Magic Kingdom for the Halloween Party. If you are already in the park, starting around 4:00 PM you can simply go to one of the Party stations (typically you'll find one near Stitch's Great Escape in Tomorrowland) where you'll present your Halloween Party ticket to the Cast Members and you'll receive a Party wristband, guide map and treat bag. 

    In order to maximize your Halloween Party time (those 5 hours pass very quickly and there's a lot to see and do!), I recommend: 1) enjoying a quick service dinner before the Party officially begins at 7:00 PM (Columbia Harbour House is a great choice), and 2) foregoing attractions during the Party -- with the sole exception of the Haunted Mansion which has a particularly ghoulish aura on Party nights. Be sure not to miss one of the ghost ladies, Madame Carlotta and Madame Renata, who take turns telling spooky tales on the front lawn.
