    I have not returned to WDW for five years - having to cancel in 2020. Previously I was able to dine at any Disney resort restaurant without a reservation - am I able to do this again? How can I do this with counter service restaurants?

    Welcome to planDisney, Dalton! I am so glad you want to return to Walt Disney World Resort soon! Since your last vacation, a lot has changed in the parks, but don't worry, I will help answer all of your questions today!

    Dalton, if you are looking at those very popular table service restaurants, like Chef Art Smith's Homecomin', California Grill, or Be Our Guest Restaurant, it is required that you make advanced dining reservations 60 days ahead of your scheduled arrival date. As far as counter service restaurants, the My Disney Experience app has released a new feature called Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering, which makes dining at a quick-service restaurant easier than saying supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! You have the ability to make that cheeseburger pod order at Satu'li Canteen or pick up a DOLE Whip from Aloha Isle right after your ride or attraction.
