We are not planning a WDW trip until Spring 2013...how far out should we plan? Right now 5 adults and one child age 4 (almost 5) . Would prefer to stay onsite or very close to the theme parks and prefer to stay all together and not in separate rooms.

    Hi Julie,

It sounds like what you need is one of Disney's Villa-style rooms. These are available at the following on-site resorts: Animal Kingdom Lodge, Old Key West, Saratoga Springs, Contemporary (Bay Lake Tower), Beach Club, Wilderness Lodge, and Boardwalk.

The best option for your group would be a two-bedroom villa. These are very much like small apartments. They have a master bedroom with a king-sized bed and a private bath with jacuzzi tub. There is a second bedroom with two queen-sized beds and another bathroom. The villas also feature a full kitchen and a washer-dryer. The living room area also has a queen-sized pull-out couch. Depending on which resort you're staying at, there may also be a third bathroom off the living room.

There are also larger, three-bedroom villas if you prefer more privacy. The three-bedroom venues include "Grand Villas" at some of the hotels and "Treehouse Villas" at Saratoga Springs.

You could also stay at a Fort Wilderness cabin, which sleeps six. However, there is only one bathroom in the cabin, which makes it less than ideal with so many adults in your group.

All of these options are on Disney property with full access to perks like free transportation to the parks and Extra Magic Hours.

I'd be happy to give you more information about any of these locations. Please write back with more questions.
