A few months ago when I was visiting Walt Disney World, I found myself in the exact same situation you're asking about! I had packed my
MagicBand in my luggage, which meant I didn't have it easily accessible when we headed straight to
Blizzard Beach on our check-in day. Because I went through this firsthand, I completely understand your question and would be happy to share what I did to help make your experience a smooth one.
Before heading to the water park, make sure you have the
My Disney Experience app downloaded to your mobile device and that all Guests staying at your Disney Resort are listed on your reservation within your account. When your reservation is properly linked, a complimentary water park ticket will automatically be assigned to each Guest for use on your check-in day. Keep in mind, that these tickets will usually appear a day or two before your arrival.
To find your water park tickets:
- Open your My Disney Experience app.
- Tap "My Tickets & Passes" from the home screen.
- You'll see a water park ticket listed for each Guest on your resort reservation, valid specifically on your check-in day.
- When you arrive at the water park, simply scan each ticket at the entrance. There will be no need for a MagicBand or a physical ticket!
After that, you'll be ready to dive into your vacation...literally! I think this
complimentary water park perk is such a fun and refreshing way to kick off your Disney stay.
