Hi there, Jill!
Welcome back to planDisney. We’re always delighted when you stop by with your questions.
I love
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Thanks to the stunning and lush grounds, walking around this Disney Resort hotel makes me feel at peace. The views are captivating whether you’re enjoying a daytime or nighttime stroll. You'll also love that there’s plenty to do with little ones without leaving the Resort hotel! For instance, my family loves the
Coronado Springs Campfire Activities and the
playground area! And I would be remiss not to mention the
Lost City of Cibola pool! With a 123-foot-long waterslide, it’s hard to tear my Mouseketeers away from making a splash!
I, too, have traveled many times with our family’s double stroller, which was a must for us during our Walt Disney World Resort vacations. To double-check, I called and spoke to a friendly Cast Member who confirmed that elevator access is available for Guests in the buildings outside of the Gran Destino Tower, as well. Hooray!
Depending on the Resort hotel, while completing the
Online Check-In process, Guests may have the option to make a simple room request like asking for a room on the Ground Floor or one near the lobby or an elevator, etc. Although this is only a request and not guaranteed, I recommend checking to see if a ground-floor option is available while completing the Direct-to-Room Service. Cast Members do their very best to try and accommodate these requests when there's availability.
Since you’re traveling with
small Mouseketeers, I would love to tell you about the
Baby Care Centers! These are located in all four parks and offer large changing tables, a kitchen with a microwave, a sink, a private nursing room, and more! They are a wonderful place to relax and wind down for a bit, should you or your little ones need it.
Another outstanding feature is the
Rider Switch service! It allows Guests to take turns waiting with children who cannot or aren’t able to ride an attraction. With Rider Switch, one adult stays with the kiddo while the rest of the party enjoys the attraction. When the other adult returns, they can supervise the kiddo, and the waiting adult can board the attraction without having to wait in the regular line again!
Wishing you and your family an enchanting visit, Jill!
